Assistant Financial Accountant – Hachette Finance

We are looking to recruit a full-time Assistant Financial Accountant (35 hours a week)

What you’ll be doing

Hachette UK is recruiting an Assistant Financial Accountant, reporting to the Group Accounting Manager. This is a key role in the Central Accounting & Reporting team, producing various reporting tasks including cash reporting, sales reporting, divisional submissions to our French Parent Company, and external statutory reporting. This role also helps to support the Group Accounting Manager during our bi-annual budget phase.

Who we’re looking for

You will be studying towards ACCA, ACA or CIMA and will be competent in Excel; able to understand and explain complicated concepts and be able to deliver to tight deadlines. Along with an inquisitive nature, eagerness to learn and a willingness to gain and use practical knowledge, you will also have an understanding of issues affecting the business where required.
